    Description

    GateSource HR is partnering with a client provider of innovative, integrated and intelligent automation solutions for the global industry operating in multiple countries. To support its growth in the United states, we are looking for a Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of our clients' equipment at customer site in the Fort Worth-Dallas area. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing CNC-PLC control systems, programming, calibration, performance verification, and process improvement. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute programming tasks, calibration, and process adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project goals and requirements to senior management.
    • Conduct final acceptance testing under the supervision of the Service Manager, adhering to established acceptance protocols.
    • Identify and implement technical solutions for issues that arise during commissioning and after-sales service to maintain performance standards and ensure seamless communication.
    • Provide project updates to the project coordinator, including scheduling, work order status, milestone achievements, final completion, and other relevant commitments.
    • Develop technical documentation for manuals covering operation, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and conduct customer training on proper machine usage.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed project records and documentation.
    • Adhere to company policies and meet performance expectations set by management.


    Requirements



    Qualifications & Skills
    • Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
    • Strong understanding of electrical and pneumatic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings.
    • Experience with PLC/CNC systems, with preference for Siemens and FANUC.
    • Proficiency in CNC software, including Siemens Sinumerik and Sinumerik Operate.
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve CNC alarms by tracing the root cause.
    • Familiarity with PLC software, specifically Siemens TIA Portal V15.
    • Capable of troubleshooting PLC alarms by identifying their origin.
    • Experience with HMI software and database management using SQL Server Management Studio.
    • Ability to replace plug-and-play modules efficiently.
    • Skilled in disassembly, replacement, and adjustment of mechanical components.

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and be legally authorized to operate a vehicle in the United States.
    • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
