Field Service Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance, validations, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instrumentation throughout the United States. This role combines technical expertise, customer service, and extensive travel while offering competitive compensation, benefits, and bonus potential.

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Starting Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 plus benefits and monthly bonus eligibility

Key Responsibilities
* Perform onsite preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and IQ/OQ validations on laboratory instrumentation.
* Provide technical support and training to customers via onsite visits, phone, and email.
* Schedule and coordinate travel efficiently while maintaining accurate service documentation and expense reports.
* Build strong customer relationships and support preventive maintenance agreement renewals and service opportunities.




Required Skills & Experience
* 2+ years of field service experience supporting instrumentation, analytical equipment, calibration systems, or similar technical equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain electronic or mechanical equipment using hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
* Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
* Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Continental United States.

Preferred Skills & Experience
* Technical degree, electronics certification, or coursework in analog and digital circuits.
* Experience with laboratory instrumentation, calibration, validation, quality control, or regulated environments.
