Bobcat of North Texas is a full service Bobcat Dealership! We specialize in new, used, and rental compact excavators, skid steer loaders, and track loaders. We offers parts as well as both mobile and shop service, and a full line of concrete supplies.
A Field Service Support Specialist provides technical, operational, and administrative support to the Field Service Department to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of service to customers. This position serves as a key link between customers, dispatch, field technicians, and support departments by coordinating service activities, supporting technicians in the field, and promoting exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers requesting field service.
Identify customer needs and gather accurate equipment, location, and service information.
Communicate professionally with customers via telephone, text messaging
and email.
Ensure customer concerns are well documented and communicated
appropriately
Receive incoming service requests and assist in the scheduling of field
services.
Prequalify customers and equipment for eligible warranty and/or program
services.
Assist in forecasting repair needs and duration for accurate daily scheduling.
Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to customers and technicians.
Assist technicians in locating service information, parts, and equipment
history.
Track preventive maintenance programs and coordinate service completion
Coordinate parts availability across multiple locations. Coordinate special-order parts for scheduled repairs.
Identify back-ordered items affecting field repairs.
Qualifications
Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges relating
to all field service operations, in the interest of best serving our customer
base.
Strong customer service skills are essential.
The ability to work well with and contribute to team-based tasks and objectives.
Knowledge of construction equipment and possessing general mechanicalaptitude and technical service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills required.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel,Word and OneDrive.
The ability to learn and become proficient in company ERP and/or servicemanagement software.
High School diploma, bachelor’s degree or relevant job experience is astrong advantage.
