    Job Summary

    The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, installation, and customer training for complex analytical instruments. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction while supporting equipment performance and reliability.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of analytical instruments.
    • Install and configure equipment at customer locations.
    • Provide customer training on instrument operation and maintenance.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
    • Manage service-related inventory and replacement parts.
    • Coordinate travel schedules and service assignments efficiently.
    • Complete administrative and service documentation accurately.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional technical support.
    • Travel frequently to customer sites to perform field service activities.

    Requirements

    • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
    • Ability to work independently and manage service assignments.
    • Knowledge of electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
    • Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
    • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
    • Strong customer service, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
