Job Title: Field Construction Manager
Job Duration: Temporary w/ possibility of it becoming Temp-Direct (520-hour conversion)
Est. Pay Range: $52 to $54/hr on w2
Work Type: Onsite
Work Schedule/Hours: Mon-Fri / 7am-4pm
 
Overview/ Responsibilities:
Field Construction Manager
The Facility Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations, maintenance, small tenant improvement projects and safety of assigned Clinical buildings at various Naval Bases in the San Diego area.
•Daily Management of routine and emergency repairs by Contractors.
•Attendance of all scheduled Government meetings.
•Daily project status reports t Government Leadership.
•Development of Estimates and ROMs.
•Collaborate with Project Manager to establish project schedule and budget and monitor progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements.
•Routine Site Visits to assigned Clinics.
•Monthly reports for Client contract fulfillment.
•Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 3 years of experience).
•Strong working knowledge of NAVFAC, DoD, and Federal contracting procedures preferred.
•Excellent communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
•Resolve issues that arise with projects on-site and ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
•Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent Computer and software knowledge
