Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking for a new challenge? We are a highly respected firm in the construction industry, seeking a Permanent Project Manager for Commercial TI. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding team and apply your expertise in areas such as TI, Ground Up, Clean Room, Life Sciences, Healthcare, QC Lab, Biochem Lab, MEP Infrastructure, and lab support systems. This role is perfect for a candidate with a passion for high-quality construction projects and a proven track record in project management.
Responsibilities:
As our Permanent Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of commercial TI construction projects from planning to implementation.
2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
3. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
4. Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
5. Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
7. Meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
8. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
10. Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting issues.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
2. Proven working experience in project management in the construction of TI, Ground Up, Clean Room, Life Sciences, Healthcare, QC Lab, Biochem Lab, MEP Infrastructure, and lab support systems.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and project management.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
9. Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
11. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
