Purpose:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician IV operates and maintains facilities equipment including building controls, fire protection systems and heating ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC). Responsible for maintenance, operation and repairing of utilities equipment, maintains physical structure of establishment and general electrical systems on an industrial, cGMP regulated facility. Utilities equipment includes Chillers, Boilers, Air Handling Units, Exhaust ventilation, Dehumidifiers, Cooling Towers, Compressed Air Systems, Reheat, Fire Prevention, Emergency Power Generators, Water Treatment, UPS, and Environmental Control systems.
The Technician will document all maintenance activities completed using the site computer maintenance management system (CMMS). The technician performs, as needed, maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other building upkeep activities. Also, plans, coordinates, inspects, and performs maintenance and supports project management for facility related projects, building remodeling and construction, equipment installation and/or placement, safety and environmental compliance, mechanical systems maintenance, and energy management programs. Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.

This position is well suited for technicians who value teamwork, a predictable rotating schedule, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on site operations.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute during the plant’s annual shutdown and maintenance period, when the team completes important work that supports long-term reliability. Based on operational needs, this responsibility may include scheduled work during the Christmas holiday period.
