    The Position
    A Facility Maintenance Technician will maintain the overall functionality of our facilities, providing routine maintenance to our buildings and grounds, and assisting with construction tasks and other special projects (e.g. concrete pours, painting, etc.) as needed. This position reports to our Project Manager. The position requires a candidate to be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking – must take initiative, problem solve, and work to achieve the company mission and align with its core values.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
    • Perform minor repairs and address maintenance requests in a timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Prepare and set up concrete pours, including formwork, reinforcement, and mixing. Perform post-pour cleanup and maintenance of equipment.
    • Support various special projects assigned, which may include facility upgrades, equipment installations, and other projects.
    • Assist the Project Manager with all projects as directed.
    • Maintain an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record.
    • Take the initiative to help maintain clean facilities by sweeping, picking up, straightening, etc.
    • Work in a safe, professional manner (which includes following all stated company policies and following all “common sense” precautions and proper utilization of required or recommended PPE) to safeguard the health of yourself, fellow coworkers, and other persons on company property AND to prevent damage to equipment, goods, property, and the environment.
    • Must report any unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor.
    • Must report any accidents or near misses immediately to supervisor.
    • Must perform cleaning duties and general housekeeping related to the work site.
    • Must assist the Mechanic shop as needed. 

    Position Requirements

    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertion, including standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs. repeatedly, frequently. Able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction, maintenance, or similar field.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be accepted for coverage by the Company automobile insurance carrier (this is outside employer control).
    • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
    $24 - $29 an hour
    Range dependent on skill and experience.
