This role provides hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, utilities, and building automation systems while assisting with technical projects, documentation, and facility performance analysis.This position is ideal for engineering students pursuing a career in facilities engineering, mechanical systems, reliability engineering, or operations support.What You'll DoFacilities Engineer Level –Perform preventative maintenance (PM) items and inspections using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Perform machinery space rounds, equipment rotation, and system monitoringRO/DI skid, Grade 4I Wastewater Treatment Plant, Process WaterAssist in troubleshooting and unexpected repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems with licensed techniciansSupervisor Level –Oversee day‑to‑day site operationGrounds, Security & Janitorial needsSpecial events, hazards, operationsOperate and monitor multiple sites using the Building Management System (BMS)Life Safety systems – sprinklers, fire/toxic alarm systems, toxic exhaust, emergency power distributionCentral Utility Building (CUB) Boiler/Chiller PlantICO Classes 4-7 Clean Room HVAC operation & monitoringUtilities – water, electric, natural gas, liquid bulk gas tanksEnsure compliance with local/state/federal regulations, inspections & certificatesContinuous improvement projectsManagement Level –Departmental expense and controllable budgetsMaster planning and large capital expenditure project budgetingContracted maintenance agreementsDepartment staffing, managing people & leading teamsCorporate goal executionWhat We're Looking ForApplicants must be candidates for a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Engineering.Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as you develop within the role.
