    Position Overview

    The Facility Manager will lead the daily operations of a dynamic and fast-moving workshop dedicated to the maintenance and preparation of the companies inventory. This includes overseeing the repair, cleaning, and staging of equipment such as tents, tables, chairs, staging platforms, linens, décor, and other event gear. The role ensures all items are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards, ready for seamless event execution.

    Key Qualifications


    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (required)

    Proven leadership experience managing a team of approximately 27 employees

    Extensive hands-on skills in upholstery, carpentry, and painting

    Background in technical trades, repairs, or related craftwork preferred

    Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all rental equipment

    Regular interaction with vendors and external service providers

    Strong leadership presence, with a personable and authoritative demeanor


    Core Responsibilities


    Supervise daily operations in the shop, including cleaning, repairing, staging, and preparing rental equipment

    Oversee inventory control, tracking all assets and ensuring proper documentation

    Guarantee all equipment complies with safety, quality, and safety standards before deployment

    Lead, train, and schedule a team of trade shop personnel

    Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and event teams to meet delivery and setup deadlines

    Implement preventative maintenance and repair programs for all inventory

    Maintain a safe, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment

    Manage relationships with vendors for repairs and servicing of equipment

    Support logistics for event setup and breakdown when necessary

    Monitor inventory movement, repairs, and quality control processes

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times


    Required Experience and Skills


    3 to 7+ years of experience in operations, warehouse management, or event production preferred

    Prior supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced environment

    Strong mechanical skills with hands-on repair expertise

    Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a high-pressure setting

    Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

    Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy event equipment

    Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems is advantageous

    Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written proficiency required)
