Facilities Manager

Ichor Systems is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the planning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure supporting a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the semiconductor industry and/or cleanroom environments, combined with strong manufacturing experience and a proven ability to lead technical teams.

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical facility systems, including HVAC, pure water systems, bulk gas delivery, electrical infrastructure, waste management, and related facility infrastructure.

Employee health and safety is the #1 priority of this role.

Responsibilities

• Facilities

• Maintain building and building systems at 3 discrete locations within 2 miles of each other in north Austin

• Typical building architectural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems

• Office space & furniture systems

• Process systems including:

• ISO5/class 100 cleanrooms

• Bulk process gases including cryogenic argon & nitrogen, compressed helium and hydrogen

• Semiconductor grade (18M) deionized water system

• Exhaust

• Utilize help desk ticketing system for on demand work orders from employees

• Manage personnel and equipment moves

• Manage 3rd party contractors

• Support 24/7 operations, including being on-call - can share w/ subordinate(s)

• Support events setup & takedown

• Interface with property management for building/campus matters

• Safety

• Address safety issues with building with appropriate sense of urgency

• Attend monthly safety committee meeting

• Security

• Issue access badges to new hires

• Monitor & maintain security systems (access controls, intrusion, CCTV)

• Conduct reviews of surveillance systems on demand

• Engage guard services when/if needed

• General

• Attend site General Manager's weekly staff meeting

• Currently manage 1 senior Facilities Technician (more may be hired)

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction of adjacent industries is preferred but not necessary.

• 10 years' work experience is highly preferred

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems

• Experience in semiconductor industry, with cleanrooms highly preferred

• Experience with cabling networks ideal

• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, AutoCAD preferred

• Management experience

• Experience with PM programs, CMMS system

• Hands-on experience preferred
