Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA(Hybrid). The role involves upgrading and troubleshooting complex REST/SOAP integrations, supporting regression testing and production deployments, and ensuring the stability of mission-critical HR or financial applications in a hybrid environment.

Rate Range: $49/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead Oracle ADF application upgrades from ADF 12c to ADF 14c, including ADF Faces, ADF Business Components, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments.

• Drive Java modernization efforts from JDK 8 to Java 21, including remediation of deprecated APIs and migration from javax to jakarta.

• Perform WebLogic and middleware migrations, troubleshoot deployment issues, optimize JVM performance, and ensure SSL/TLS compatibility.

• Upgrade, validate, and support REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz Scheduler, MyBatis, and other enterprise middleware components.

• Execute regression testing, performance benchmarking, UAT support, and production issue resolution for mission-critical enterprise applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver application enhancements, maintain system stability, and support hybrid deployment environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle ADF application development, enterprise Java development, and large-scale modernization projects.

• Strong experience with Oracle ADF 12c/14c upgrades, WebLogic 12c/14c administration, Java 21 modernization, and migration of enterprise applications from legacy platforms.

• Proven expertise in integration technologies, including REST/SOAP services, SFTP/SSH, middleware troubleshooting, SSL/TLS configuration, and enterprise application deployments.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
