Extrusion Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Hours:

• 1st Shift, 6:45 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Pay:

• $18.50/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up extrusion lines, including tooling, vacuum tank, puller, cutter, and coiler

• Fill hoppers and prepare the production area

• Measure and size product using calipers, step gauges, and micrometers

• Monitor quality: OD, ID, wall thickness, weight, surface finish

• Perform hand coiling, stacking, and operate automatic coiler

• Package and label products: poly-bag, heat seal, apply labels, and tape boxes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Complete production paperwork, run history, and shipping documentation

• Perform line clean-up, remove tooling, clean plastic residue, and grind scrap

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in production or machine operation preferred

• Comfortable using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Ability to understand and follow written specs and tolerances

• Physically able to lift boxes and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

• Reliable and able to work independently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Warehouse and factory experience

• Mechanical aptitude

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior production or machine operation experience preferred

• Experience with precision measurement tools

Other Requirements:

• 5-panel drug test (THC is acceptable)

• Must fill out and upload application, drug policy, personnel test, behavioral survey before submitting candidate

• Dress professionally for the interview; be 10 minutes early

• Must be able to work on-site; no remote work
