    Executive Assistant - State Farm Agent Team Member

    Location: Alvin, TX | In-office
    Schedule: 30–40 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling

    Position Overview

    Chris Peters State Farm is hiring an Executive Assistant to work directly with the agent and help keep our office organized, on schedule, and running smoothly. You'll manage daily priorities, coordinate appointments, and follow through on the details that keep the office moving.

    We're looking for someone dependable and trustworthy who takes direction well, handles confidential information with discretion, and communicates clearly and concisely. If you enjoy supporting others, managing several priorities, and seeing tasks through to completion, we'd like to hear from you. No insurance license is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the agent's calendar, inbox, and daily priorities.
    • Schedule and confirm client appointments and team meetings.
    • Handle confidential business, personnel, and client information with discretion.
    • Prepare reports, track office goals, and maintain accurate records and files.
    • Coordinate vendors, office supplies, deadlines, and other day-to-day office needs.
    • Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct insurance questions to licensed team members.
    • Complete assigned projects and tasks, providing brief, clear updates on progress and next steps.
    • Support team events, marketing efforts, and special projects as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
    • Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to follow direction, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
    • Comfort working with email, calendars, and common office software, such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
    • Administrative, executive assistant, or office experience preferred.
    • No insurance license required.
