The Events Coordinator works with the Campus Pastor and Campus Administrator to create meaningful, high-impact experiences by planning and executing engaging campus events that bring people together, strengthen community, and support seeing people transformed by Jesus! PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
VLC POSITION ATTRIBUTES Pastoral Leadership – “I lead through shepherding.” Provide spiritual and emotional support through presence, counseling, visitation, and encouragement LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: NOT REQUIRED. Spiritual Leadership – “I guide through discipleship.” Foster growth in Christ through teaching and mentoring. Lead groups and ministries in developing a biblical foundation and a life of faith. LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: NOT REQUIRED Administrative – “I contribute through organization.” Ensure smooth operations through planning, scheduling, and coordination. Advance the mission by managing resources, logistics, and processes efficiently LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: HIGH. Team Leadership – “I guide through collaboration & influence” Lead teams by fostering open communication, leveraging strengths, building trust, influencing decisions, and coaching to achieve goals. LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: LOW Innovation – “I contribute through creative solutions.” Bring ideas to life through design, media, or problem-solving. Create solutions that engage, inspire, or enhance ministry outcomes. LEVEL REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: HIGH Task-Based – “I deliver through execution.” Prioritize and accomplish tasks with accuracy, reliability, and focus. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: This position requires moderate physical activity, including regularly lifting and carrying 25–35 pounds, as well as frequent standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
