Summary

Nestled on the shores of Lady Bird Lake, in the heart of downtown Austin is Hyatt Regency Austin - where caring for people to be their best is our purpose and the foundation of all that we do! We are in search of a dedicated and reliable Event Set-Up Horseperson to join our fantastic Banquets/Events team!

The Event Set-Up Houseperson is primarily responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, push and pull moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.

Open availability including Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays is required for this position.

Qualifications

• This position requires open availability

• Related experience working in Hotels, Convention Centers, Warehouses, etc. is preferred

• Good communication and comprehension skills

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a moderate amount of weight
