Paradise Point Resort & Spa is looking for an enthusiastic, relationship-driven Event Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-cycle sales and event planning role combining event sales, client relationship management, and event planning coordination with our Banquet team for successful execution.

What You'll Do
  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and follow-up.
  • Respond to event inquiries, qualify opportunities, conduct site tours, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and become their trusted point of contact throughout the sales and planning process.
  • Plan and coordinate events from contract through event day, including menus, timelines, floor plans, décor, setup requirements, and other event details.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into a detailed event plan.
  • Conduct event planning meetings and ensure all event details are accurately communicated and documented.
  • Work closely with the Banquet team and other operational departments to ensure the event plan is understood and executed successfully.
  • Conduct pre-event meetings and ensure a smooth handoff of operational details to the Banquet team.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, event details, and revenue forecasts in the appropriate systems.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue goals.
  • Participate in networking events, industry functions, bridal shows, and other business-development opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and maximize event revenue through food & beverage, enhancements, guestrooms, and other resort offerings.
  • Build repeat business and generate referrals by creating an exceptional client experience throughout the sales and planning journey.

Event Sales Manager Role Structure and Team Collaboration

You sell it. You plan it. The Banquet team brings it to life.

The Event Sales Manager owns the client relationship from the initial inquiry through the planning process and ensures the event is fully prepared for execution. Once the event details are finalized, the Banquet team takes the lead on the day-of execution, including setup, service, timing, and operational delivery.

This allows the Event Sales Manager to remain focused on what they do best selling, building relationships, planning exceptional events, and creating future business.
