Description
Estimator - Construction - New York
Our client is a leading New York City-based general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex multifamily and affordable housing developments. With a team of over 200 professionals, they specialize in large-scale residential construction, sustainable building practices, and high-performance projects, consistently delivering quality work throughout the region.
Review project drawings, specifications, and scope details to prepare accurate construction estimates.
Build cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor work.
Request, review, and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing to support complete bid packages.
Identify cost drivers, assumptions, and scope gaps to improve estimate clarity.
Develop quantity takeoffs and organize supporting cost information for project reviews.
Work with construction teams to confirm project requirements and estimate assumptions.
Update estimates when project plans, specifications, or pricing change.
Prepare bid documents and cost summaries that support timely project decisions.

A successful Estimator - Construction - New York should have:
- Experience preparing construction estimates for property projects.
