Our client, a boutique estate planning firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families, is seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney with approximately two years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who is looking to develop sophisticated planning skills within a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment.
The firm represents high-wealth clients with complex estates and provides comprehensive estate, tax, and wealth transfer planning. The incoming associate will work closely with a senior attorney who is committed to hands-on training and long-term professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
- Assist with advanced estate and wealth transfer planning strategies
- Support trust funding and estate administration matters
- Conduct client meetings alongside supervising attorney
- Perform legal research related to estate, tax, and trust law
- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines efficiently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member of the Texas Bar (required)
- Approximately 2+ years of estate planning experience
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Professional demeanor suited to working with high-net-worth clientele
- Desire to build a long-term career in estate planning
