How You'll Contribute
Assist in the development and coordination of LCRA's policy positions and support LCRA's advocacy at ERCOT.
Attend, monitor, and participate in ERCOT stakeholder meetings, including meetings of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), subcommittees, working groups, and task forces.
Track and assign revision requests filed at ERCOT to internal subject matter experts; assist in managing regular meetings to discuss new and pending revision requests and other ERCOT-related issues; and coordinate with Wholesale Power, Transmission, and legal to develop policy positions and comment on revision requests.
Coordinate with ERCOT staff and ERCOT stakeholders on pending market and reliability issues; develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders.
How You're Qualified
Twelve or more years of experience in engineering, business analysis, project management, regulatory analysis, regulatory compliance or other relevant experience.
A degree(s) in engineering, math, science, business administration, project management or other relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
How You'll Stand Out
Knowledge of ERCOT electricity markets.
Familiarity with Texas utility regulatory environment.
Ability to create data driven insights to support regulatory positions.
