Our client is seeking an experienced
Epicor Kinetic Operations Consultant to support an active
Epicor Kinetic implementation. This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who understands both
Epicor functionality and manufacturing operations and can work directly with business users, leadership, and implementation partners to help drive the project toward a successful go-live.
The ideal consultant will have participated in multiple
Epicor ERP implementations and understands the complete implementation lifecycle—from discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
This is a contract engagement requiring a minimum of approximately
25 hours per week, with the ability to travel
up to 50% based on project needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesEpicor Kinetic Implementation
- Support an active Epicor Kinetic implementation across manufacturing and operational business functions.
- Apply a strong understanding of Epicor implementation methodology and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in requirements gathering, discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Translate manufacturing and operational requirements into practical Epicor solutions.
- Work closely with the implementation partner while representing the client's operational and business requirements.
- Help evaluate implementation recommendations and determine whether proposed solutions align with both Epicor best practices and business needs.
- Identify process, configuration, data, or project risks before they impact implementation timelines.

Provide functional expertise across key Epicor manufacturing and operational areas, including:
- Manufacturing and production management

- Material Management
- Warehouse and Shipping

- Quality processes
- Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock manufacturing environments
The consultant should be able to understand how decisions made in one area of Epicor impact downstream processes, including
inventory, costing, purchasing, production, scheduling, shipping, and financial reporting.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic and/or Epicor ERP 10.
- Multiple years of Epicor functional consulting, business analysis, or implementation experience.
- Previous participation in at least one full-cycle Epicor implementation;multiple implementations strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Epicor implementation methodology and ERP implementation best practices.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing and operational business processes.
- Strong Epicor experience across MRP, Job Management, Inventory, Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, BOMs, Routings, and Shop Floor processes.
- Strong experience with ERP data migration, cleansing, mapping, validation, and conversion.
- Working knowledge of Epicor DMT.
- Ability to perform fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into Epicor functionality.
- Experience with UAT, process testing, training, cutover, and go-live support.
- Ability to troubleshoot both system and business-process issues.
