Join our dynamic team as a Consulting Epic Ambulatory Analyst in the Healthcare industry. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will work Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 0800-1700 PST. Non-local candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Epic Ambulatory Analyst, your role will involve the design, building, testing, and implementation of clinical application systems. You will provide support to clinical users through your knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards. You will work closely with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols and prepare detailed specifications encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis. You will also provide customer service, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

You will be part of the APeX Ambulatory team under the Clinical Systems department, responsible for the build and maintenance of the UCSF electronic health record (Epic) as well as the Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland’s EHR. You will collaborate with other APeX application teams, clinical/business operations and guides to enhance and maintain the Epic electronic health record.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Epic build and application experience and must achieve EpiCare Ambulatory certification (within 6 months of hire). You should have broad and/or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty area(s), as well as knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.

You should possess strong problem-resolution skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, and analytical skills. You should have the ability to work with senior staff and managers, serving as a technical resource and providing advice and counsel on issues of functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance.

This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience. The maximum bill rate amount for this position is 130/hr.
