Join Orlando Health's Environmental Services team and help create a safe, clean, and healing environment for our patients, visitors, and team members. As an Environmental Technician I, you'll play a vital role in infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our healthcare facilities.

 

What You'll Do:
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas
Support patient room turnovers for admissions and discharges
Remove trash, soiled linens, and bio-medical waste
Replenish supplies and change curtains as needed
Operate cleaning equipment and UV disinfection machines
Follow infection prevention, PPE, and safety protocols
Utilize department technology, including Bed Management systems
Report maintenance and safety concerns
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and team members
Support departmental quality improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications
Education
• No minimum education requirement

 

Experience
• No experience required — we'll provide training!
• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, environmental services, healthcare support services, or a related field is preferred

 

Licensure/Certification
• None required
