As an Environmental Scientist, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, strengthen your technical skills, and play a key role in meeting important regulatory and project milestones.

What You'll Do

• Support environmental fieldwork for active projects throughout New York City's five boroughs under the guidance of tenured staff
• Assist with environmental sampling, site investigations, and inspections
• Contribute to project planning documents, data analysis, and technical report preparation
• Work independently and collaboratively within project teams
• Help ensure contractual, safety, and regulatory deadlines are consistently met

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental field investigations, sampling, and inspections
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 40 certification
• Additional HAZWOPER training or certifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
