    About the Role As a member of the Entertainment Law Practice Group, you will work closely with partners and senior attorneys representing clients across film, television, music, digital media, and hospitality industries on a wide range of transactional matters.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, and negotiate entertainment agreements including talent agreements, production agreements, distribution deals, licensing contracts, and publishing agreements
    • Counsel clients on rights acquisition, clearance, and entertainment business structuring
    • Assist with film, television, and music transactions from development through distribution
    • Advise clients on digital media, streaming, and content monetization matters
    • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations
    • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups including corporate, IP, and litigation
    • Stay current on developments in entertainment law and the evolving media landscape

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of entertainment law experience at a law firm
    • Active California Bar admission required
    • Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
    • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
    • Strong client communication skills — both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms
    • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
    • Must be able to pass a background check
