Our client, a leading organization in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Support Department, collaborating with the Test and Development Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $48/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Support and track various configurations and generations of test platforms for vehicle simulation and software testing
- Assemble custom hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds
- Use commercially available, off-the-shelf components to build computers
- Integrate network and vehicle system components in server racks
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware and equipment
What's Needed?
- 3+ years of experience in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to use general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, Harnessing Tools, etc.)
- Experience with building and troubleshooting cable harnessing and familiarity with cable management
- Experience with building/troubleshooting/diagnosing computers and computer components
- Working knowledge of computer and networking hardware
