Position Overview

This position will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering teams, preparation of mission-critical equipment and materials, supporting operations of engineering laboratories, and promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock, and reorder supplies as needed

Maintain organized, clean, and efficient work areas that support reliable team operations

Diagnose and resolve technical issues while ensuring timely repair and replacement of faulty equipment

Support equipment preventative maintenance and calibration while maintaining equipment availability

Coordinate logistics for equipment deployment, setup, transfer, and return

Actively support a safe work environment and promote a safety-focused culture

Write clear and consistent documentation based on team principles and practices that align with quality expectations

Take proactive initiative to identify issues, communicate risks, and help drive practical improvements for the team

Required Skills and Competencies

Clearly and effectively communicates information

Ability to follow established procedures and methods with a moderate degree of supervision

Applies basic analytical, administrative, and technical skills to perform routine activities

Ensures accuracy and precision through strong attention to detail

Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies

Assess workload and prioritize tasks effectively

Familiarity with engineering equipment, lab instruments, testing devices, and related support tools

Office software proficiency, including Word and Excel, with clear technical writing capabilities

Work effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain a positive, friendly, and service-oriented mindset

Demonstrates balanced working knowledge of Android and iOS mobile ecosystems, including device setup, common settings, account access, application installation, troubleshooting, and basic operating system differences

Education and Experience

High School diploma / GED and 2+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree/Vocational Technical School diploma with focus on related field and 1+ years of relevant experience

Six Sigma certification or related continuous improvement training is preferred, but not required

Additional responsibilities and skills for Engineering Operations Technician

Balanced understanding of Android and iOS mobile ecosystems, with the ability to support device setup, troubleshooting, application access, and clear user guidance across both platforms

Proactively identifies opportunities to improve support processes, reduce repeat issues, and create a better experience for engineering teams

Additional Information

Ability to lift at least 30lbs.

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $22.25 - $33.37

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
