Description

The Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team while maintaining a significant hands-on role in the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation projects. This individual will oversee engineering standards, resource allocation, compliance initiatives, technical reviews, and customer interactions while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

• Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical, electrical, controls, and CAD engineering personnel.
• Manage engineering schedules, workload distribution, and project execution priorities.
• Perform design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance engineering activities.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers, project teams, fabrication, and commissioning activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering processes, quality, and machine reliability.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a technically strong engineering professional with a background in industrial automation, custom machinery, or automated manufacturing environments. They will have experience leading teams while continuing to contribute directly to engineering projects and will be comfortable collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing functions.

• 7+ years of experience in industrial automation, machinery, or manufacturing engineering.
• Previous leadership experience managing projects, teams, or engineering resources.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design, controls systems, and automation technologies.
• Experience with compliance engineering, risk assessment, and design review processes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a hands-on technical workload.
