MB Attorney Search is conducting a search for an Employment Attorney with at least five years of experience to join a respected boutique management-side labor and employment practice in the greater Milwaukee area.
This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys counseling employers on day-to-day workplace matters and helping clients navigate employment issues proactively before disputes arise. The position offers substantial client interaction, hands-on responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced labor and employment attorneys in a collegial environment.
Responsibilities:
Advise employers on day-to-day employment and workplace matters.
Draft and review employee handbooks, workplace policies, offer letters, and related employment documents.
Assist employers with internal investigations and workplace assessments.
Provide guidance on matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and leave laws.
Support management training and preventative employment practices.
Work closely with business clients to develop practical and proactive employment solutions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of employment law experience, with significant counseling and advisory experience preferred.
Strong drafting, communication, and client counseling skills.
Experience advising employers on workplace policies and employment compliance matters.
Ability to manage client relationships and provide practical business-oriented guidance.
Strong academic credentials and professional judgment.
Wisconsin bar admission required or ability to obtain admission promptly.
