Electronics Test Technician

We are seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join a manufacturing team responsible for producing sophisticated electronic and electromechanical equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys figuring out why something isn’t working, systematically troubleshooting the problem and ensuring equipment performs as intended before it leaves production.

This position works directly on the production floor and is a strong opportunity for someone with electronics, electromechanical testing or technical manufacturing experience who wants to continue developing their troubleshooting skills. Daily onsite in Orlando Florida.

What You’ll Do

• Perform functional testing of electronic and electromechanical assemblies and finished equipment using established procedures
• Perform PCBA, unit-level and final product testing to verify proper operation and quality
• Troubleshoot equipment that does not perform as expected, working through potential causes to identify and resolve problems
• Use electronic schematics and test equipment to diagnose issues
• Test equipment under operating conditions to verify fluid flow, controls, displays and other system functions
• Identify component, wiring, mechanical or assembly issues that could affect product performance
• Perform minor rework, repairs, component replacement and mechanical adjustments as needed
• Accurately complete manufacturing and testing documentation
• Inspect and help maintain test equipment
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to resolve technical issues
• Follow established safety, quality and ESD procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized and ESD-safe work area
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to testing processes and product quality

What We’re Looking For

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent hands-on experience
• At least 1 year of technical production, electronics testing or related experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of basic electronic theory
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
• Experience working with electronic and electromechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters (DMMs) and oscilloscopes
• Ability to follow detailed written procedures and accurately document testing results
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort making minor adjustments or repairs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment and adapt to changing priorities

This role goes beyond simply following a testing checklist. The team needs someone who is naturally curious and can work through problems logically: identifying what isn’t working, considering possible causes and determining what to check next. Strong troubleshooting ability is one of the most important qualities for this position.

Work Environment

This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing setting where precision, quality and attention to detail are critical. The role involves hands-on work with electronic components and equipment, following ESD and safety requirements and collaborating with other departments to solve problems and keep production moving.
