Position Summary
Mighty is seeking an experienced, results-driven Electrical Service Manager to lead our growing Electrical Department.
This position oversees electricians, service technicians, and maintenance personnel while managing daily operations, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and departmental profitability.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong electrical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to develop teams, drive revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop electricians, service technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Oversee daily electrical service, installation, repair, and maintenance operations.
- Manage technician productivity, scheduling, job quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive departmental revenue, profitability, and operational performance.
- Monitor KPIs, including revenue, average ticket, conversion rates, labor efficiency, and callbacks.
- Provide technical guidance and support for complex electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, licensing requirements, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures.
- Review estimates, job costing, inventory, and departmental expenses.
- Coach technicians on customer service, presenting solutions, and ethical sales practices.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition/HR on staffing needs, hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes, grow the department, and achieve company goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical service, installation, or related industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead technicians and manage departmental performance.
- Experience managing revenue, productivity, budgets, and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and team-building abilities.
- Experience with field service management software.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Colorado Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician License.
- Residential electrical service management experience.
- Experience with ServiceTitan.
- Experience managing departmental P&L and performance-based KPIs.
- Proven success growing revenue and developing high-performing teams.
Any duties requiring a specific Colorado electrical license must be performed by appropriately licensed personnel.
