Electrical Engineer

Reviewing supplier control documentation, manufacturer QPL CofCs, part-specific data packages, approved parts lists, test documentation, and nonconformance reports for compliance with program requirements. Reviewing incoming inspection data, identifying component-related discrepancies, generating DMRs, and coordinating technical resolutions with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Materials Control.

HumanHire has partnered with a leading electronics and aerospace manufacturing company in Farmingdale to help find an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team!

We are seeking engineers with experience in EEE parts, component qualification, supplier compliance, and configuration control.

Salary: up to $130,000/yr (Based on experience)

Location: Farmingdale, NY

Schedule: 9/80 schedule, Monday-Friday, with alternating Fridays off.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Supporting EEE component selection, qualification, characterization, evaluation, screening, traceability, lot control, and reliability requirements for aerospace and space applications.
• Generating and maintaining SCDs defining component requirements, specifications, and applicable supplier controls.
• Reviewing supplier control documentation, manufacturer QPL CofCs, part-specific data packages, approved parts lists, test documentation, and nonconformance reports for compliance with program requirements.
• Reviewing incoming inspection data, identifying component-related discrepancies, generating DMRs, and coordinating technical resolutions with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Materials Control.
• Maintaining component records, configuration data, and engineering documentation in PLM systems, Microsoft Access databases, and other electronic data management systems.

Electrical Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of component engineering experience.
• Experience supporting electronic components in aerospace, defense, space, or high-reliability electronics environments.
• Experience with PLM systems, configuration management, and electronic component databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
