Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a EHS Technician for a Contract with a client in Pomona, CA. The ideal candidate will support environmental, health, and safety initiatives through compliance monitoring, safety audits, reporting, and employee training.

Rate Range: $24/Hour to $25/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

EHS Technician Responsibilities include:

• Assist with accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.

• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and safety tours to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Deliver EHS training programs, including Lockout/Tagout, safety awareness, and environmental compliance training.

• Maintain environmental, health, and safety records, databases, reports, and regulatory documentation.

• Support hazardous waste management, recycling initiatives, and environmental permit compliance activities.

• Collaborate with management and supervisors to promote workplace safety, reduce risks, and maintain a healthy work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; additional education or training in Environmental, Health & Safety is preferred.

• 2-3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or equivalent industry experience.

• Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, MIOSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.

• Proficiency with computer applications, spreadsheets, and the ability to support EHS reporting, audits, and training activities.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
