Position Type: Full-Time | Classified Staff

Tipp City Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Educational Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. This position supports students and teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom activities, and the creation of a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities
• Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
• Supervise students as assigned
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with others

Requirements

• Successful BCI and FBI background checks
• Ability to meet all state and district requirements for Educational Aides
