Position: Educational Assistant- Delair
Pennsauken Public Schools is an urban/suburban Pre-K to 12th grade school district of approximately 5,000 students located in Camden County, New Jersey
Responsibilities:
- Operate audio-visual equipment
- Assist with the production of bulletin boards and displays
- Assist with special projects; assist with classroom housekeeping chores
- Correct tests and homework; help absentees make up assignments
- Assist the teacher with drill work; help individual students with their work
- Check seat work; cover classrooms, study halls, etc. as needed
- Classroom duties per discretion of teacher
- Assist with lunchroom coverage; assist with corridor coverage; assist with playground coverage
- Monitor students during lunch and/or playground times
- Assist with the check out of library materials; organize and distribute materials
- Assist with assemblies and special programs; accompany classes on field trips
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 60 college credit hours Preferred
- Must pass the New Jersey Criminal History Review Unit Fingerprinting requirement
- New Jersey State residency requirement in effect
Terms:
