Job Summary
The Education Specialist provides specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities to ensure meaningful academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. This role develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, differentiates instruction, monitors student progress through ongoing assessment and data analysis, and fosters an inclusive, positive learning environment. The Education Specialist is responsible for maintaining compliance with special education timelines and requirements while promoting student achievement, independence, and character development aligned with the school s mission.
