Early Careers Recruiting Coordinator (Senior-Level)

Location: Atlanta, GA (30309)
Work Schedule: 4 days onsite (Thursday required; additional days flexible)
Pay Rate: $30–33/hour
Contract Term: 5 months

Overview

Invesco is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Early Careers Recruiting Coordinator to support its University Recruiting function. This role plays a critical part in delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while supporting the full lifecycle of early careers hiring, including interns and entry-level talent.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role within a lean team, ideal for a candidate who can hit the ground running with minimal training. You will partner closely with the University Relations Manager and hiring managers to execute recruiting operations, ensure compliance, and manage interview logistics at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Coordination & Operations

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting logistics for early careers hiring (approx. 80 interns annually)
  • Schedule high-volume interviews (MS Teams, virtual, and occasional onsite) across multiple time zones
  • Manage complex Outlook calendar scheduling and support implementation of the Rooster scheduling tool
  • Post and maintain job requisitions in Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Screen resumes and assess candidate qualifications (supporting—not owning—recruitment decisions)
  • Partner with hiring managers to open roles, align on timelines, and maintain process flow

Candidate & Hiring Process Management

  • Coordinate background checks and partner with HR and hiring managers to confirm start dates
  • Track candidate lifecycle activity within Workday ATS
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience
  • Support conversion of interns to full-time hires

Events & University Recruiting Support

  • Coordinate logistics for recruiting events and information sessions (virtual and onsite)
  • Schedule speakers and manage event details (space, catering, materials, communications)
  • Attend recruiting and intern-related events as needed
  • Manage relationships with university partners, vendors, and external organizations
  • Process invoices related to recruiting events and partnerships

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain dashboards and reports related to hiring metrics, demographics, and program engagement
  • Pull and analyze recruiting data to provide insights
  • Assist in preparing presentations and updates for senior leadership

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the Early Careers program as needed
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, or campus recruiting
  • Strong Outlook calendar management experience (high-volume scheduling required)
  • Experience with resume screening and recruiting processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday preferred
  • Experience with scheduling tools (Rooster is a plus)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting university recruiting or early careers programs
  • Exposure to data analysis and reporting
  • Interest in asset management or financial services industry

What Success Looks Like

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal onboarding
  • Strong partnership with hiring managers to ensure smooth, compliant hiring processes
  • Effective management of high-volume scheduling and coordination tasks
  • Delivery of a seamless and professional candidate experience

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite in Atlanta (Thursday required)
  • Collaborative role working closely with HR, business leaders, and external partners
  • Fast-paced, high-visibility function with direct impact on early career talent strategy
