Microwave Power Products (MPP) is a global manufacturer of highly engineered electronic components and subsystems used in aerospace, defense, medical, scientific, industrial, and communications applications. We're looking for an eager Customer Sales Representative who is early in their career and wants to learn how a technical manufacturing business works while building strong customer-facing and business skills.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with our customers, learn our products and systems, and partner with teams across Sales, Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting. You don't need to know everything coming in. We're looking for someone who is curious, dependable, comfortable talking with people, and ready to take ownership.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

You'll help our customers get what they need while learning the products, processes, and systems behind our business.

• Respond to customer questions by phone and email and make sure issues are followed through to resolution
• Enter and manage customer orders, quotes, returns, and credits
• Provide customers with order status, shipping updates, and other follow-up
• Prepare customer quotations using established pricing and processes
• Learn to navigate our ERP and CRM systems and maintain accurate customer records
• Review customer requirements, pricing, delivery information, and order details for accuracy
• Work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Accounting to resolve customer needs
• Follow up on open quotes and customer requests
• Help maintain customer portals and support customer order-entry requirements
• Assist with customer outreach and learn how we develop new business
• Attend customer meetings or industry events as you gain experience
• Help identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and our internal processes

• Can work comfortably with Excel, Outlook, and other business systems
• Are comfortable working with different teams and personalities
• Bring a positive, professional presence and are easy to work with
• Want to build depth in a role and grow with a company over time

Customer service, retail, administrative, sales, operations, or internship experience is helpful, but we are open to different backgrounds. A bachelor's degree or relevant college coursework in business, communications, engineering, supply chain, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

This position may involve access to information subject to U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Access to certain controlled information may be limited to individuals who qualify as "U.S. persons" (generally U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and certain protected individuals). Non-U.S. persons may still apply; however to be eligible for the role, access to controlled information may require U.S. government authorization.

Applicants must be able to comply with applicable export control requirements. For security clearance position, the candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance as required, holding a security clearance is a plus.
