Dual-certified World Language Teacher

Syosset Central School District

Available in October 2026

The Syosset Central School District seeks a dual-certified World Language Teacher. This anticipated vacancy is a probationary appointment. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • NYSED dual certifications in Spanish and another language required

  • Demonstrated ability to align instruction and assessment with ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and World Readiness Standards

  • Experience building language proficiency through engaging contextualized lessons

  • Possess innovative skills using instructional technology

  • Expertise in differentiation of instruction to support the success of all students

  • Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
