Description:
• We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract position in Albertson, NY.
• This role involves providing therapy to students from kindergarten through age 21.
• The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and requires expertise in managing therapy sessions and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current New York State SLP license/certification
• School-based SLP certification
• Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP management systems
• Effective collaboration with teachers and families
• Experience conducting evaluations and therapy sessions
