Job Details

Job Details:

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for drywall, metal studs, taping, and accessories
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
Solicit and analyze vendor and supplier pricing
Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risks within bid documents
Prepare bid proposals, clarifications, and value engineering options

Requirements:

5+ years of estimating experience in drywall and metal framing (preferred)
Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, WinBid, Plexxis) and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
