Description

JOB TITLE: Drug and Alcohol Program Coordinator (Part-Time)
LOCATION: Austin, TX (Hybrid; 3 days in office/week)
PAY RANGE: $29/hr.
DURATION: 6 Months
SHIFT: 6:00 AM- 10:30 AM CT (4.5 hours) Monday-Friday (shift start time subject to change based on D&A drug testing needs)


POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Supports the drug and alcohol program by assisting with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks, including random testing pool management and test scheduling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties of this job include but are not limited to:
  • Assists with managing the random testing pool for drivers
  • Helps maintain accurate and current pool lists
  • Supports the random selection process and tracks selection results
  • Coordinates drug and alcohol testing appointments
  • Notifies selected drivers and supervisors of testing requirements per program protocols
  • Maintains a testing calendar/tracker of scheduled, completed, and outstanding tests
  • Provides general administrative support for the Drug & Alcohol Program
  • Assists with routine reporting on pool status and testing completion rates
  • Helps prepare materials for required trainings
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of related administrative or coordination experience
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Uses tact and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive employee/contractor information
  • Comfortable following established processes and escalating issues appropriately
  • Working Conditions: Minimal travel (occasional, if any)
EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
