Essential Job Functions:
Act as Professional Driver Hiring Manager for Customer Service Center.
Field recruiting calls Assist in aligning driver recruiting efforts with the company freight movement.
Review applications of prospective hires in Tenstreet and make determination if the applicant is qualified.
Process applications for new hires and rehires as needed.
Conduct personal interviews daily with prospective candidates.
Complete background checks as well as pulling PSP and MVR reports.
Assist with onboarding New Drivers weekly.
Pair new drivers with CSTs.
Track CST and new hire(s) training process.
Attend monthly Safety Meetings to establish relationships with all UPT drivers.
Travel to various locations for recruiting efforts as needed (racks, loading terminals, fuel stops)
Assist in field recruiting events as needed such as Job Fairs and local Hiring Events.
Work with Recruiting Department to keep ads and marketing up to date.
Ensure driver census for CSC meets budgeted forecast.
Assist Recruiting Department with monthly AFH Report and Fleet Report.

Keep driver lounge organized and up to date with company directives and communications.
Ensure driver facilities have ice, water, and coffee available.
Additional Responsibilities:
Carries out duties assigned by the VP of Operations as required.
Assists Recruiting and Human Resources Department occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
College degree preferred.
One to three years of experience in the transportation industry recruiting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Good interpersonal skills: ability to work well with a wide range of individuals.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

Working Conditions:
Requires travel of up to 15% of the time.
