Job Title: Family Law Associate Attorney
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Aspen Careers is working with a local firm that seeks to hire an associate attorney with 5+ years of family law experience to join their team. The Family Law Practice Group is dedicated to supporting clients through compassionate and skilled advocacy.
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal pleadings and discovery documents.
Organize and respond to discovery requests.
Draft motions and analyze financial information.
Prepare marital balance sheets, child support guidelines, and spousal support calculations.
Conduct legal research using platforms such as Lexis.
Represent clients in state courts, including appearances before judicial officers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in family law matters, including litigation and financial analysis
Strong communication skills.
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Technologically proficient.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.
