Now hiring District Sales Manager

Texas Remote role

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Shift: Make your own hours (adjusting for travel)

Here's what it takes to make yours count.

  • Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business Administration
  • Technical degree in Construction Management or Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of business-to-business sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a sales/marketing management environment
  • Experience/knowledge of the construction industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel)
  • Ability to analyze blueprints
  • Understanding of face-to-face sales and marketing initiatives

  • Base Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually
  • Commission: 5% of sales
  • Company credit card provided for business expenses
  • Mileage reimbursement included

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall sales performance and market growth within the assigned territory

  • Identify and develop new customer markets, including:

  • Metal Building Manufacturers

  • General Contractors

  • Architects

  • Design-Build Contractors

  • Roofing Contractors

  • Renovation Contractors

  • Lumber Yards

  • Generate new business and expand market presence through strategic prospecting and relationship building

  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to strengthen positioning and increase market share

  • Execute sales promotions and support marketing initiatives within the district

  • Define requirements and assist in developing and implementing technical training plans for external sales audiences

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of product codes and testing requirements

  • Estimate building plans per customer specifications, including material takeoffs and Strukturoc order processing

  • Collaborate closely with inside sales teams to ensure seamless customer support and order execution

  • Call on existing company accounts as directed by the VP of Sales

  • Represent the company at job sites to support customer relationships and project execution

  • Organize and manage district trade shows and assist with national trade show events

  • Travel approximately once per week to construction sites and client meetings
