    Description

    Position Summary...

AI is changing how we build products, how work gets done, and how organizations operate. Our People team has an opportunity—and an expectation—to lead that transformation alongside the business.
Our mission is to accelerate AI, Product & Design through its people—building the leadership, talent, and organization needed to operate and win at global scale. We connect business and people strategy across markets, enabling leaders to move faster, build high-performing teams, and turn global scale into greater impact for our customers, members, and associates.
We’re looking for a People Partner who wants to help shape what comes next.
    About the team:

We are the People Partner team for AI, Product & Design—a global organization shaping the future of Walmart and Sam’s Club. Sitting at the intersection of business, technology, and people, we partner with leaders to translate strategy into the talent and organization needed to deliver at scale. We’re builders, problem solvers, and trusted partners who challenge the status quo. And we’re embracing AI to rethink how we work—moving faster, unlocking better insights, simplifying experiences, and redefining People partnership for the future.

    What you'll do...

You’ll be a strategic partner to leaders, translating evolving business, product and design priorities into talent, organization, and leadership strategies that deliver at global scale. You’ll shape organization design and workforce strategy, build exceptional leaders and high-performing teams, and connect priorities across markets and functions. You’ll use AI, data, and insights to reinvent how People work gets done—accelerating decisions, simplifying experiences, and anticipating what’s next. Operating comfortably through ambiguity and transformation, you’ll turn complexity into action and connect people decisions to measurable outcomes—strengthening organizational effectiveness, productivity, and our ability to deliver for customers, members, and associates around the world.
    What you'll bring:
    • Business-first thinking. Connect people decisions to business outcomes.
    • AI fluency and curiosity. Use AI to rethink work, accelerate decisions, and unlock impact.
    • Strategic influence. Build trust, challenge thinking, and turn complexity into action.
    • Global mindset. Balance enterprise scale with local needs.
    • Talent and organization depth. Build capabilities, leaders, and teams that scale.
    • Comfort with ambiguity. Move quickly as priorities evolve.
    • Builder mentality. Experiment, simplify, and create what’s next.
    • People-first leadership. Pair high expectations with empathy, judgment, and a commitment to helping others thrive.
