About the Role:

The Director of Talent Acquisition is a senior people leader responsible for designing and executing full‑cycle recruiting strategy for our client. This role oversees the entire talent pipeline, from workforce planning through offer acceptance, while strengthening the employer brand across all three organizations. The Director partners with executive leadership, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers to build proactive recruiting strategies aligned with each organization’s culture, talent needs, and growth plans. This role also manages external search firm relationships to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with internal priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and execute a multi‑organization talent acquisition strategy supporting all three entities.
  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders on talent trends and workforce needs.
  • Establish recruiting goals, SLAs, and performance metrics; report progress to senior HR leadership.
  • Build a scalable recruiting infrastructure for both high‑volume and specialized hiring.
  • Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on workforce planning and headcount forecasting.

Full‑Cycle Recruiting Oversight

  • Oversee full‑cycle recruiting for all organizations, including sourcing, screening, assessment, offer strategy, and pre‑boarding.
  • Ensure each CUSO’s unique hiring needs are prioritized appropriately.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Partner with Compensation on offer strategy and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain ATS workflow, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Ensure a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience.

External Agency and Search Firm Management

  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and search firms.
  • Maintain a preferred vendor list and negotiate contracts and fee structures.
  • Define criteria for when external partners are engaged.
  • Monitor vendor performance and enforce SLAs.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce external spend through internal sourcing strategies.

Employer Brand Leadership

  • Own and evolve the employer brand for all three organizations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to develop branded recruiting content and career site experiences.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all employer brand messaging.
  • Lead employee referral program strategy.
  • Manage reputation on employer review platforms.
  • Use candidate and new‑hire feedback to refine EVP messaging.

Compliance, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including EEOC, OFCCP, ADA, FCRA, and NCUA guidance.
  • Maintain licensing compliance considerations for Wealth Management roles requiring FINRA registrations.
  • Deliver regular TA dashboards and executive reports.
  • Partner with HR Operations on ATS configuration and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement across sourcing, assessment, and hiring processes.
  • Maintain TA‑related SOPs and requisition workflows.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree in HR Management or Business Administration preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience required.
  • 3+ years in a senior leadership or Director‑level TA role required.
  • 3+ years managing recruiting across multiple business entities or brands required.
  • Proven success building employer brand strategies across diverse organizations.
  • Experience in financial services, credit unions, or banking preferred.
  • Expertise in modern sourcing methods and talent intelligence tools.
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to advise senior leaders.
  • Experience managing external search firms and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Workday, or Greenhouse.
  • Skilled negotiator with experience in executive compensation and agency management.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience recruiting for licensed financial roles preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law related to recruiting.
  • SPHR or SHRM‑SCP preferred.
  • LinkedIn Recruiter Certification preferred.
