A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Quality & Risk Management to oversee quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and risk management initiatives for a specialized post-acute rehabilitation hospital. This leader will work closely with executive leadership to maintain excellence in patient care, survey readiness, and performance improvement programs while ensuring compliance with CMS and Joint Commission standards.

Job Details

Lead all quality management, risk management, and performance improvement activities
Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, Joint Commission standards, and applicable healthcare regulations
Develop, monitor, and analyze quality indicators and patient safety metrics
Coordinate hospital-wide accreditation and regulatory survey readiness efforts
Investigate and manage risk-related events, incidents, and corrective action plans
Facilitate performance improvement committees and quality initiatives
Collaborate with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for operational and clinical improvement
Develop policies, procedures, and programs supporting regulatory compliance
Monitor outcomes and implement evidence-based quality improvement strategies
Provide ongoing education and guidance regarding quality, patient safety, and risk management practices
Support leadership in achieving organizational quality and operational goals
Oversee departmental responsibilities and associated team members within the quality function
