This Director of Procurement role is based in Newark, NJ, partnering closely with leadership to ensure materials are available, suppliers perform, and costs drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director of Procurement position include:

  • 10+ years of procurement experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Construction procurement experience required
  • Develop and execute procurement strategy to reduce total material costs and improve gross profit
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and standardize materials
  • Improve supplier performance, preferred vendor utilization, and on-time delivery
  • Optimize inventory levels, increase rebates, and reduce emergency purchases
  • Lead purchasing operations and procurement analytics to track KPIs and purchase price variance
  • Manage and develop the procurement team to support a 30+ year organization

Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 + 20-25% bonus opportunity per year, commensurate with experience.
