About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and passionate HR leader to shape the people strategy for a thriving healthcare organization. As a key member of the leadership team, the People Services Director (PSD) will lead all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition and development to employee relations and regulatory compliance. The PSD will play a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment where employees feel valued and empowered.
Location: On-site in McMinnville, OR
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define, develop, and implement the overall people strategy aligned with the hospital's mission and goals.
- Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the full cycle of talent acquisition, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and leadership development.
- Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Training and Development: Identify and implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge, supporting their professional growth.
- Policy and Procedures: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, as well as CMS, OSHA, and TJC regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their professional development and creating a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Five or more years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Recent union experience is a must.
- Certifications: PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound recommendations. Extensive knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.

The annual salary range for this role is [$110k - $145k], depending on experience and qualifications. We are committed to offering competitive compensation tailored to individual expertise.
